The Network coordinator Mr. Larry M. Melling presented on the Community Livelihood support that the Project (CLSP) , which is geared to empower women to improve their lives for the fact that many of them lost their businesses and their farms could not also yield results due to the COVID-19 and the state of emergency last year. The project centers around agricultural and weaving activities and the budget is Ten Thousand (10,000) United States dollars) to help women regain their economic status in society and thereby attain improved livelihood, according to the network coordinator. The coordinator further noted that the CNN will do the monitoring aspect of the project and do monthly submission to NARDA M&E focus person and also inform the Development superintendent, other stakeholders and CSOs when having meetings.
During remarks by participants few comments or suggestions were:
- That NARDA should extend support to other communities that are in need
- CSOs and local authorities pledged commitment to support the network during project implementation
- That NARDA continues her support with the Lofa County NGO Network
